Community Rules

These Community Rules apply to all activity on Agape Social, including sparks, comments, reactions, photos, photo comments, profiles, groups, group posts, Minister Blog articles, Bible verse notes and shares, and related interactions. By creating an account or continuing to use the site, you agree to follow these rules.

Violations may result in a warning, content removal, account Under Review, suspension, or a permanent ban. Serious violations may lead to immediate action without a prior warning.

Conduct

Honest Identity and One Account

Use an accurate username and profile that represents you. Do not impersonate another member, minister, church, or administrator.

Maintain only one account per person. Do not create additional accounts to evade moderation, suspension, or a ban.

Be Kind and Courteous

We are all here to fellowship with other Apostolic Pentecostals. Differences in perspectives are bound to arise, but it is essential to treat each other with respect and kindness at all times. Healthy debates are natural, but must be conducted in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding. Remember, our unity lies in our shared faith, not in uniformity of opinions. Any form of disrespect or unkind behavior will not be tolerated on Agape Social.

No Hate Speech, Bullying, or Vulgar Language

In line with our commitment to maintaining a respectful, safe, and moral environment, bullying, hateful, or vulgar language is strictly prohibited. This includes harassment, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact through comments, mentions, or similar interactions.

Despite the casual nature of online communication, we must remember our obligation to uphold the values of our faith. Please report any such incidents using the Report link on sparks, comments, profiles, and other content where reporting is available.

Content Standards

Keep It Clean

Agape Social reflects our faith and values. This applies to sparks, comments, photos, profile bios, slogans, avatars, group names and descriptions, Minister Blog articles, and group discussions. Do not share anything you would not want to see in the church bulletin or on the front page of a newspaper. In other words, if you would not say it in front of your pastor or your pastor's wife, do not post it. Our online interactions should mirror the respect and love we exhibit in our church community.

No Illegal Posts

Do not post anything about illegal activity, which includes, but is not limited to, drug use, illegal or glorifying substance abuse, or illicit sexual activities.

Threats of violence and any content sexualizing minors are forbidden with zero tolerance. Agape Social mirrors the law-abiding principles of our faith community. Any other content that violates this rule will be promptly removed.

No Graphic Videos or Photos

We ask that members avoid posting graphic videos or photos in sparks, spark attachments, profile photos, Minister Blog cover images, group cover images, or group discussions. Please remember that some members may be more sensitive than others, and such content can be offensive or disturbing, even if that was not the intent. Always consider the feelings and sensitivities of other members before posting. Any posts containing graphic content will be removed.

No Spam or Irrelevant Comments

Do not post spam or irrelevant comments, including links to malicious websites, misleading links, engagement bait, AI-generated spam, click-baiting links, illegal content, bulk messaging, or ads. An irrelevant comment has nothing in common with the discussed topic. Duplicate sparks and repeated posts are also considered spamming.

Sharing a legitimate ministry or Scripture link in context is welcome. Violating this rule, which is in place to maintain a positive and relevant discussion environment, will result in the immediate removal of the offending content.

Doctrine

No False Prophets or Doctrines

Content from false prophets, false teachers, prosperity preachers, and Trinity preachers, as well as promoting doctrines such as Divine Flesh, contradict our Apostolic Pentecostal beliefs and is not allowed. This rule aims to maintain the purity of our faith and the integrity of our discussions, ensuring that they remain rooted in our shared Apostolic Pentecostal doctrines. Content violating this rule will be removed promptly.

Controversial Topics

Controversial topics can be a part of our discussions when the intent is to learn and not to stir up controversy. Good-faith questions about how Scripture applies to current events are welcome when offered respectfully. Content mainly intended to provoke arguments, division, or outrage is not allowed.

Content that undermines the foundational principles of our Apostolic Pentecostal doctrine will not be tolerated. If an administrator determines that a spark, comment, or post was intended to incite controversy, the content will be deleted.

Privacy and Prayer

No Personal Information

Do not post other people's phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, full names of minors, financial details, or similar private information without their clear consent. This includes doxxing or sharing private details about another member, minister, or visitor.

You choose what to place in your profile fields. Do not post your own phone number or email address in public sparks or comments if you want that information to stay private.

Any breach of this rule will be taken very seriously.

Prayer Wall and Sensitive Requests

Prayer requests are welcome, especially in groups such as the Prayer Wall. Share only what is needed for others to pray in faith.

Do not use prayer posts for gossip, speculation, or embarrassing others. Do not include addresses, full names of minors, financial account details, or other sensitive information unless the person needing prayer has given explicit consent.

Sharing and Commerce

Shared Sermons and Ministry Media

You may share another minister's sermon video, audio, or article when it edifies the body, for example, a YouTube sermon from a minister whose teaching aligns with our Apostolic Pentecostal faith and does not violate the No False Prophets or Doctrines rule.

Do not upload or link pirated, stolen, or rights-infringing material. When reasonable, identify the minister or ministry you are sharing so members know the source.

Do not share media that promotes false doctrine, infringes copyright, or violates this rule.

No Selling, Advertising, or Self Promotion

Agape Social is a spiritual community, not a place for member-driven selling or self-promotion. Do not sell products or services, advertise, or promote your own website, book, or other commercial offerings in sparks, comments, profile content, or elsewhere on the site. This includes content that solicits others to buy products or services or links meant to drive sales or traffic to outside commercial pages, even when related to our faith.

Publishing articles on your own Minister Blog is allowed; using the blog or other areas to sell products or services is not. We aim to keep fellowship focused on spiritual growth, free from unsolicited commercial distractions. In the future, Agape Social plans to add a marketplace for administration-approved items; until that feature is available, unauthorized selling and promotion are not allowed. Any content found breaking this rule will be promptly removed.

Leadership

Minister and Group Leadership

Verified ministers and group owners represent a higher level of trust on Agape Social. They are expected to model these Community Rules in their posts, groups, and Minister Blog articles.

Group owners should keep discussions in their groups orderly and faithful. Misuse of group leadership privileges, or ministerial status used to promote false doctrine, harassment, or commercial spam, may result in loss of group or minister privileges.

Bible Tools

Bible Tools and Shared Scripture

Bible search, passages, verse notes, reactions, and sharing verses to sparks are meant to build faith, encourage the saints, and edify one another. Do not misuse Scripture by taking it out of context to attack members, mock doctrine, or harass others.

Reporting and Enforcement

How Reporting and Enforcement Work

Use the Report option on sparks, comments, spark images, profile photos, photo comments, and profiles when you see a violation. Choose the reason that best matches these Community Rules. If none fit, select Other and explain the issue in the details field.

Administrators review reports and may remove content, place an account Under Review, suspend, or ban members, sometimes without prior warning for serious violations. Repeat or bad-faith reports may be ignored; abuse of the reporting system is not allowed.

For account-status questions after moderation action, see the FAQ. To contact the team about a penalty or these rules, use Feedback when logged in or email the site administrator.
